Deputy Minister for Ministry of Hotels and Tourism U Htay Aung accompanied by Director General of Directorate of Hotels and Tourism and responsible persons inspected the Sein Taunggyi Hotel, May Shan Hotel, Pyin Oo Lwin Guest House, Gardan Guest House and Okinawa Guest House in Yangon at 7:30 A.M on 28 April and left instruction for improvement of service quality and importance of attending the training courses to produce the qualified employees.
Afterwards, DM and parties proceeded to the Center Point, Rose Garden and Shangri La foreign investment hotel projects. DM urged the responsible persons to complete the projects in timely manner to meet the accommodation requirements of the current Myanmar Tourism situations. He also fulfilled the requirement of the projects instantly.
At 11:30 A.M Deputy Minister viewed the project site of Yangon Green Hotel, constructed by national entrepreneurs at No.8, Nat Mauk Ward in Tarmway Township.
At 12 noon, the DM met with the Myanmar hoteliers at Yuzana Hotel. In the meeting, DM said that there are (8016)rooms in (189)hotels in Yangon and the figure don’t match with the developing status of Myanmar Tourism. All the hotels rooms must be upgraded in international standard and also the hotel staffs are needed to be attended the training opened by ministry and private school in essential manner to polish their skills.
Deputy Minister, in his address, called for the cooperation by private sector as the ministry has been making the earnest efforts for systematic development of the Myanmar tourism industry.
The meeting was attended by chairman from Myanmar Hotelier Association, Union of Myanmar Travel Association , Hotel Zone (Yangon) and responsible persons.
Vice chairman of the committee for facilitating the convenient entering for foreign visitors, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Hotels and Tourism U Htay Aung attended the coordination meeting of the committee at 2:00 P.M at Yangon International Airport meeting room and made an address.
Together with the DM, secretary of the committee, Director General of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism U Aung Zaw Win, Managing Director of Myanmar Hotels and Tourism Services U Hla Htay and officials from departmental concern, authorities from region and state governments and responsible persons from air lines attended the meeting.
Deputy Minister discussed about the matters to form the passage between the domestic and international hall in Yangon International Airport and to connect the domestic and international flight. He also clarified to liberalize the procedures in airport, carry out the MTB tasks, provide the internet facility in airports, standardize the transportation for foreign visitors and facilitate the smooth process for exchange money.
During the meeting DM heard reports from departmental concern and gave concluding remark.
In the evening, DM met with the General Managers from foreign investment hotels and tour companies in Inya Lake Hotel and made a briefing for selling the rooms in reasonable price in accord with the provided service, selling the rooms with agreement made by both parties, keeping the terms and conditions of the contract agreed by both parties and keeping the rules of conduct in doing business and sustainable development of the Myanmar tourism.

ဒုတိယ၀န္ႀကီးႏွင့္အဖြဲ႕သည္ နံနက္ (၁၁း၃၀)နာရီအခ်ိန္တြင္ တာေမြၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ အမွတ္(၈)၊ နတ္ေမာက္ရပ္ကြက္တြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသားလုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ား တည္ေဆာက္လွ်က္ရိွေသာ အိပ္ခန္း (၃၇၂) ခန္းပါ ရန္ကုန္ဂရင္းဟုိတယ္လုပ္ငန္းခြင္သို႕ သြားေရာက္ၾကည့္ရႈအားေပးခဲ့သည္။

ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္း၀န္ႀကီးဌာနအေနျဖင့္ ျမန္မာ့ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္း စနစ္တက်ဖြံ႕ ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္ေစရန္အတြက္ ႀကိဳးပမ္းေဆာင္ရြက္ေနသည့္အေပၚ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ားမွ လည္း ပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္သြားၾကရန္ လုိအပ္ပါေၾကာင္းျဖင့္ ေဆြးေႏြးမွာၾကားခဲ့ပါသည္။

ညေန(၅)နာရီအခ်ိန္တြင္ ဒုတိယ၀န္ႀကီးသည္ အင္းယားကန္ဟိုတယ္၌ ႏိုင္ငံျခားရင္းႏီွးျမႇဳပ္ႏွံမႈ ဟိုတယ္မ်ားမွ အေထြေထြမန္ေနဂ်ာမ်ား ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ ေတြ႕ဆံုၿပီး ဟိုတယ္အခန္း မ်ားေရာင္းခ်ရာတြင္ အခန္းခေစ်းႏႈန္းမ်ားကို ေပးအပ္သည့္ ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈႏွင့္အညီ ေရာင္းခ်ေရး၊ ခရီးသြားကုမၸဏီမ်ား ကို မူလသေဘာတူညီထားသည့္ စနစ္ပံုစံအတုိင္း ေရာင္းခ်ေရး၊ ႏွစ္ဖက္စာခ်ဳပ္ပါ စည္းကမ္းမ်ားကို လုိက္နာေရး၊ လုပ္ငန္းတြင္ထားရိွရမည့္ က်င့္၀တ္မ်ားကို ေစာင့္ထိန္းေရး၊ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္း ထာ၀စဥ္ရွင္သန္ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရးအတြက္ အားလံုးပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္ေရးတုိ႕ကို ရွင္းလင္းေျပာၾကားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း သတင္းရရိွသည္။
