Deputy Minister for Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, U Htay Aung called on Mr. Gautam Raj, Vice President of Oberoi Group, India at the Ministry here this morning.
At the call, Deputy Minister said that for the socioeconomic development of Myanmar, Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is trying to improve the development of hotels and tourism industry, we also welcome the investment from both local and foreign investors and we would like to enhance the cooperation between Myanmar and India for that industry. Afterwards, Mr. Gautam Raj said that, Myanmar is a country rich of both natural and cultural resources and has a great potential for the development of tourism industry, he also frankly discussed that the Oberoi Group is operating both Hotels and Cruise businesses not only in India but also in other countries and therefore they also would like to invest in Myanmar.
Also present at the call were, Director General, Managing Director and respective officials from Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.

ထိုသို႕ေတြ႕ဆံုရာတြင္ ဒုတိယ၀န္ႀကီးမွ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ ႏိုင္ငံေတာ္၏ စီးပြားေရးႏွင့္လူမႈဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳး တိုးတက္မႈပိုမိုရရိွလာေစရန္အတြက္္ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္း၀န္ႀကီးဌာနအေနျဖင့္လည္း အနာဂါတ္ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္းက႑ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္ေစေရးေဆာင္ရြက္လ်က္ရိွေၾကာင္း၊ ယခုအခ်ိန္အခါသည္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ စီးပြားေရးရင္းႏွီးျမွဳပ္ႏွံမႈမ်ားျပဳလုပ္ရန္ အေကာင္းဆံုးအခါ သမယျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း၊ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းမ်ား အရိွန္အဟုန္ျဖင့္ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္လ်က္ရိွၿပီး ျပည္တြင္းျပည္ပ လုပ္ငန္း ရွင္မ်ားအား ေစ်းကြက္စီးပြားေရးစနစ္ႏွင့္အညီ ဖိတ္ေခၚႀကိဳဆိုလ်က္ရိွပါေၾကာင္း၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံႏွင့္ အိႏၵိယႏိုင္ငံတို႕အၾကား ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားတြင္ ပိုမိုပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္လို ပါေၾကာင္း ေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ၾက သည္။ ဆက္လက္၍ အိႏိၵယႏိုင္ငံ၊ Oberoi Group ၏ ဒုတိယဥကၠဌျဖစ္သူ Mr. Gautam Raj မွ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသည္ ေရေျမေတာေတာင္ သဘာ၀အလွအပမ်ား၊ သမိုင္း၀င္ယဥ္ေက်းမႈ အေမြအႏွစ္မ်ား၊ ေဖာ္ေရြပ်ဴငွာေသာ တိုင္းရင္းသားလူမ်ိဳးမ်ား၏ ရိုးရာယဥ္ေက်းမႈ ဓေလ့ထံုးစံမ်ားစသည့္ အရင္းအျမစ္မ်ား မ်ားစြာရိွပါေၾကာင္း၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအေနျဖင့္ အခ်ိန္တိုကာလအတြင္း ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္း ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္မႈ ျမင့္မားလာမည္ကို ေလ့လာေတြ႕ရိွရပါေၾကာင္း၊ Oberoi Group သည္ အိႏၵိယ သာမက ႏိုင္ငံရပ္ေ၀းတြင္ ဟိုတယ္လုပ္ငန္း၊ အေပ်ာ္စီးသေဘၤာလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားကို အဆင့္အတန္းျမင့္စြာ လုပ္ကိုင္လ်က္ရိွပါေၾကာင္းႏွင့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္လည္း ယင္းလုပ္ငန္းက႑တြင္ ရင္းႏွီးျမွဳပ္ႏွံႏိုင္ရန္ လာေရာက္ေတြ႕ဆံုရျခင္းျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ရင္းႏွီး ပြင့္လင္းစြာေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့သည္။
အဆိုပါေတြ႕ဆံုပြဲသို႕ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားညႊန္ၾကားမႈဦးစီးဌာနမွ ညႊန္ၾကားေရးမွဴးခ်ဳပ္၊ ျမန္မာ့ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းမွ ဦးေဆာင္ညႊန္ၾကားေရးမွဴးႏွင့္ ဌာနဆိုင္ရာတာ၀န္ရိွသူမ်ား တက္ေရာက္ ၾကေၾကာင္း သတင္းရရိွသည္။
