The Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Htay Aung , accompanied by responsible persons arrived at Wan Pon Port in Tachileik on 28 December morning and discussed the matters of taking necessary measures to facilitate tourists for the convenient entrance at the Wan Pon Port.
The deputy minister then inspected Golden Triangle Hotel. He also inspected the office of Myanmar Travels and Tours(Tachileik) near the Friendship Bridge and gave necessary instructions.
He continued to Kyaing Tong and conferred with hotels and tourism entrepreneurs at the hall of the Kyaing Tong Hotel.
On 29 December, he visited and observed hot spring and proceeded to Tachileik. He discussed with departmental concerned and hotels & tourism entrepreneurs at the Tachileik District Administrator’s office. Their discussions covered the development of tourism in the region.
