The Meeting for Committee for smooth entrance of foreign visitors held at Ayeyar River View Hotel on November 28.Thirty two committee members attended this meeting and discussed the future plan to implement e-visa system rapidly and arrange for the smooth entrance for foreign visitors.
This committee has been founded and comprises 32 members since November this year. The committee is chaired by H.E U Tint Hsan, Union Minister for the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and vice-chaired by H.E U Htay Aung, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. U Aung Zaw Win, Director General for Directorate of Hotels and Tourism takes the responsibility as a secretary.
Director General U Aung Zaw Win said, ‘the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism needs to cooperate with these members from the respective Ministers because we need rapid movement for the tourism sector. We all know that every sector relates to tourism industry. So the committee will fully affect on further tourism activities.
