    With the assistance of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, SPHERE Conferences and Myanmar Tourism Federation (MTF) jointly organized the 3rd Myanmar Hospitality and Tourism Conference at Kempinski Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw this morning. The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Senior Officials from the departments concerned, the experts on the hospitality and tourism sectors from the Pacific-Aisa Region and the other interested participants.
    At the occasion, H.E. U Htay Aung, the Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism delivered the opening remarks. In his remarks, the Union Minister said Myanmar welcomed over 3 million visitor arrivals with the growth rate of 51 % in 2014, Myanmar also hosted the ASEAN Tourism Forum in January this year which helped to enhance the country’s tourism growth. The Union Minister highlighted that from just the first the four months of this year, Myanmar received over 1 million visitors. The Union Minister also stressed that with such bright prospects for the tourism industry, Myanmar needs a sound hospitality infrastructure in place to meet the ever increasing demands from both business and leisure travelers. He also said that he expects the two days conference will bring vast amount of knowledge and fruitful outcomes from both international and local experts through the presentations, discussions and active participations.
    The international and local experts will share their expertise on the topics like practical visionaries on Myanmar’s dynamic hotel market, investment opportunities for potential investors, the promotion of Nay Pyi Taw as the new MICE destination, new destinations and current investment situation in the hospitality sector in Myanmar.
    The focus of the conference will be on the hospitality and tourism investment opportunities in Myanmar, the development of the new tourist destinations, knowledge sharing for local entrepreneurs and decision makers on the employment and business opportunities. The conference was attended by over 200 international and local participants. The 3rd Myanmar Hospitality and Tourism Conference will be held from 9 to 10 June 2015.

    ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္း၀န္ႀကီးဌာန၏ ပံ့ပိုးကူညီမႈ၊ SPHERE Conference ႏွင့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္တို႕ ပူးေပါင္းစီစဥ္မႈျဖင့္ တတိယအႀကိမ္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီး သြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္းဆိုင္ရာ ကြန္ဖရင့္ (၂၀၁၅) ဖြင့္ပြဲအခမ္းအနားကို ေနျပည္ေတာ္ရွိ Kempinski Hotel ၌ ယေန႕နံနက္ပိုင္းတြင္ က်င္းပျပဳလုပ္ရာ အဆိုပါဖြင့္ပြဲအခမ္းအနားသို႕ ျပည္ေထာင္စု၀န္ႀကီးမ်ား၊ ဒုတိယ၀န္ႀကီးမ်ား၊ ဌာနဆိုင္ရာအႀကီးအကဲမ်ား၊ အာရွပစိဖိတ္ေဒသ မွ ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈဆိုင္ရာ ကၽြမ္းက်င္ပညာရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ ျပည္တြင္း/ျပည္ပမွလုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ား စုစုေပါင္း (၂၀၀)ေက်ာ္ခန္႕ ပါ၀င္ တက္ေရာက္ၾကပါသည္။
    အဆိုပါအခမ္းအနားတြင္ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလာေရးလုပ္ငန္း၀န္ႀကီးဌာန ျပည္ေထာင္စု၀န္ႀကီးမွ အဖြင့္အမွာ စကားေျပာၾကားရာတြင္ ၂၀၁၄ ခုႏွစ္၌ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအေနျဖင့္ ႏိုင္ငံတကာခရီးသြားဧည့္သည္ (၃)သန္းေက်ာ္ရရွိခဲ့ၿပီး (၅၁ %)ေက်ာ္တိုးတက္ခဲ့ပါေၾကာင္း၊ ၂၀၁၅ ခုႏွစ္ အာဆီယံခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းဖိုရမ္ကို ေအာင္ျမင္စြာက်င္းပႏိုင္ျခင္းသည္ လည္း ႏိုင္ငံ၏ခရီးသြားက႑ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္မႈကို ျမွင့္တင္ေပးခဲ့ၾကာင္းႏွင့္ ယခု ၂၀၁၅ ခုႏွစ္၊ ပထမ (၄) လပတ္ကာလ အတြင္း ကမၻာလွည့္ခရီးသည္ (၁)သန္းေက်ာ္ ၀င္ေရာက္လာခဲ့ၿပီးျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းတြင္ အလား အလာေကာင္းမ်ားရရွိေနေသာ္လည္း ခိုင္မာအားေကာင္းသည့္၀န္ေဆာင္မႈဆိုင္ရာ အေျခခံအေဆာက္အဦးမ်ား လိုအပ္ လ်က္ရွိ ေၾကာင္း၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသို႕ လာေရာက္ၾကသည့္ စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းရွင္ႏွင့္ အလည္အပတ္ခရီးသည္ အမ်ိဳး အစားႏွစ္ခု လံုးအတြက္ ထပ္မံ၍လိုအပ္လ်က္ရွိေနသည့္ ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားကိုလည္း ျဖည့္ဆည္းေပး ရမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း၊ (၂)ရက္ၾကာက်င္းပမည့္ ယခုကြန္ဖရင့္၏ ေဆြးေႏြးခ်က္မ်ား၊ တင္ျပခ်က္မ်ားမွတဆင့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြား လုပ္ငန္း က႑အတြက္ တန္ဖိုးမျဖတ္ႏိုင္သည့္ အသီးအပြင့္မ်ားကိုရရွိ လာမည္ဟု ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ပါေၾကာင္း ေျပာၾကားခဲ့ပါသည္။
    တတိယအႀကိမ္ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ ဟိုတယ္ႏွင့္ခရီးသြားလုပ္ငန္းဆိုင္ရာကြန္ဖရင့္(၂၀၁၅)အား ၂၀၁၅ ခုႏွစ္၊ ဇြန္လ (၉)ရက္ေန႕မွ (၁၀)ရက္ေန႕အထိ က်င္းပျပဳလုပ္သြားမည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး ဘာသာရပ္ဆိုင္ရာပညာရွင္ မ်ားမွ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ တိုးတက္လ်က္ရွိေသာ ဟိုတယ္ေစ်းကြက္အေပၚ လက္ေတြ႕က်သည့္အျမင္မ်ားကို လည္းေကာင္း၊ ရင္းႏွီးျမွဳပ္ႏွံသူမ်ားအတြက္ အခြင့္အလမ္းေကာင္းမ်ားကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ ေနျပည္ေတာ္အား (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions- MICE) ခရီးစဥ္ေဒသအျဖစ္ ေဖာ္ေဆာင္ေနမႈကို လည္းေကာင္း၊ ခရီးစဥ္ေဒသအသစ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏  လက္ရွိရင္းႏွီးျမွဳပ္ႏွံမႈ အေျခအေနမ်ားကိုလည္း ေကာင္း ေဆြးေႏြးညိွႏိႈင္းအေျဖရွာ၍ ျဖစ္ထြန္းလာေနသည့္ အလုပ္အကိုင္ႏွင့္ စီးပြားေရးအခြင့္အလမ္းမ်ား အား ေဖာ္ထုတ္သြားၾကမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
